MEET THE FOUNDER & CEO

Ian Bramstedt, PT, DPT, OCS

Ian is a Mayo Clinic–trained physical therapist and board certified Orthopedic Specialist, who specializes in solving spine and shoulder pain in lifters - permanently. With years of focused experience treating complex spine and shoulder conditions, he brings a level of precision and clinical depth that helps clients finally break the cycle of pain.

His work is built around a simple belief: when the spine moves well, everything else follows. That philosophy shapes the way he evaluates, treats, and coaches every client, from everyday professionals to dedicated lifters who demand more from their bodies.

That commitment to precision and long‑term results didn’t come from textbooks alone - it came from his own experience under the bar.

Ian’s approach is targeted, efficient, and built around what actually works - not trends, gimmicks, or temporary fixes. By identifying the true root cause of discomfort and applying corrective, evidence‑driven techniques, he helps people regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their bodies. Clients value his clear communication, measurable progress, and dedication to results that last well beyond the treatment room.

About Dr. Ian Bramstedt & His Own Rehab Journey

Ian knows firsthand what it’s like to have lifting derailed by pain. A disc herniation sidelined his squats and deadlifts for years, and traditional rehab never gave him lasting relief. It wasn’t until he learned to correct his spine mechanics—not just the painful area—that he finally rebuilt his strength.

That experience shaped his entire career. Ian has spent years specializing in the lifting population, developing advanced expertise in how upstream spine issues drive the low back and shoulder problems lifters struggle with most. Through clinical experience and evidence‑based practice, he created a spine‑first approach that solves the root cause instead of chasing symptoms.

Today, he helps lifters restore clean mechanics, eliminate pain, and get back to training at the level they expect from themselves.

“For the past few months I have been working with Ian... he has helped me with shoulder pain, sciatica, and neck problems. Ian has done an incredible job helping me get back to my pre‑injury activities. I highly recommend Ian ... and I won't go anywhere else. "

"Ian is so knowledgeable and handled my challenging case where my knee pain was coming from a hip issue and affecting my knee through nerve pathways. Certain saeating that I was using several times a week was aggravating it as well... Even though I graduated from his care, I still follow what he taught me and am happy to say that I have progressed even further since then. I realized recently that I am completely free of even occasional knee pain. Highly recommend Ian."
